PESHAWAR: Member of provincial assembly of KPK and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz deputy parliamentary leader Arbab Akber Hayat died due to heart attack on Wednesday in Peshawar.
He was laid to rest in his native graveyard in Shah Alam. The PML-N stalwart was born on May 18, 1969 in Dhand and started his political career with Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid.
Later, he joined PML-N and remained associated with it till his death. Arbab was elected for the first time on a PML-N ticket from PK-8, Peshawar-VIII in the 2013 general elections. He defeated PPP’s Malik Tahmash Khan after losing the 2008 general polls to him.
