Twin suicide bombs rocked Quetta capital of Balochistan at 08:54 on September 7, 2011. Suicidal bombers targeted Pakistan Frontier Corps of Balochistan security forces responsible for capturing of senior Al-Qaeda operatives, Younis al Mauritani along with two other high-ranking operatives, Abdul Ghaffar al Shami and Messara al Shami. The Al-Qaeda commander was picked up in the suburbs of Quetta for the global terror network, the military said in a statement. Anyhow in these two consecutive attacks in Quetta's civil lines area killed 26, while more than 40 people are injured. According to the reports, first suicide bomber targeted the convoy of Brig. Farrukh Shahzad, when he was leaving for the office. Near to his residence, a suicide bomber tried to hit Brig. Farrukh Shahzad's car. Soon after the first blast, the second bomber opened fire and entered inside the residence of Brig. Farrukh Shahzad and blew himself up, killing Brig. Farrukh Shahzad's wife, Col Khalid and 3 other FC soldiers. The residence of the Deputy Inspector General is close to other government buildings and official residencies in the city including governor and chief minister houses while treasury office is also located in the same area. Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani on Wednesday in a message from Astana, Kazakhstan strongly condemned the twin blasts in Quetta that killed several innocent people. He expressed his government’s resolve to continue with its efforts to eliminate extremism and terrorism from the country.
Pakistan's southwest province Balochistan enjoys important geo strategic location and considers as a gateway between China and Central Asia towards international sea. Pakistan is heavily investing on Balochistan from last many years and sorted huge investments from China as well, to develop the port city of Gwadar, located in strategic location on international map. Recently, Pakistan has given operational control of Gwadar port to China. The under construction coastal highway would be the shortest available route for landlocked Central Asia as well as for China. China is eager to be able to use this route to meet its energy needs as well as boost its economy through exporting Chinese products through this route. While Central Asia. It is also added here that Pakistani President during her last visit to Russia has also offered access to warm waters to boost her economic activities. The hungry eyes of USA are transfixed on the hidden treasures of Balochistan, laden with oil, gas, coal, black diamond, gold, silver, copper, zinc and precious stones. Reportedly, the province has 19 trillion cubic feet of natural gas reserve and 6 trillion barrels of oil reserve. Huge quantity of gold and copper found in Riqo Deq in Chaghai region has watered the mouths of several foreign companies and are desperate to clinch the mining deal.
After disintegration of Soviet Union America got a chance to land her forces in neighboring “Afghanistan”. U.S. has always shown interest in controlling the Balochistan since it figured out on her agenda of containing China and Russia, controlling Asia and capturing Caspian Sea mineral resources. In this connection U.S. India Israel and U.K. made a grand strategy of creation of “Greater Balochistan” and “Jinnahpur” (Separation of Karachi from rest of the Sindh). Therefore, CIA, RAW, RAAM (khad), MI 6 and Mossad had started toying with their conceived plan with the help of local traitors like Baloch Sardars (Balach Marri, Akbar Bugti’s nephew Brahamdagh Bugti leading Baloch Republican Army (BRA), Harbyar Marri and Khan of Kalat Mir Suleiman). Many SO called criminals of Balochistan and including MQM leader Altaf Hussain have been given asylum in Britain, USA, Canada and Switzerland. It has also been observed that foreign intelligentsia under the garb of foreign funded NGOs are operating in interior Balochistan and Karachi. India has established 26 consulates/intelligence offices along Balochistan border in Afghanistan. Indian consulate in Zahidan is also Balochistan specific from where Baloch leaders are being provided full support. 60 Farari (training) camps were setup in interior Balochistan to destabilize the province.
Moreover, former Senior Minister of Sindh, Dr. Zulifqar Ali Mirza sworn statement that “Altaf Hussain told him and Pir Mazhar ul Haq that America has decided to break up Pakistan and that he and his party (MQM) are with the USA on that”, further confirmed the hidden agenda of U.S. and her allies . Dr. Mirza Aalso disclosed that most of the terrorists training camps are located in Afghanistan, India and South Africa. Now it’s the time that government should take stern actions against the traitors since the statement of a responsible former minister cannot be digested easily. In this connection, government should assist Supreme Court while providing all sort of information.
According to media reports on Karachi issue, ISI and other local intelligence agencies are also going to give their intelligence input in the shape of presentation to the honourable court. It would definitely help the court to move in right direction and also to local security agencies in controlling ongoing target killing in the finical capital of Karachi. It is a matter of great concern that since couple of years over 10000 people have been murdered in Karachi and thousand innocents individuals have been either killed either after abduction or as result of blasts in Balochistan. Reportedly, the target killers and subversive elements keep on shifting their location from Karachi to the interior area of Balochistan while using sea and costal highway. In number of press conferences, sitting interior minister has too confirmed the involvement of foreign hands in the unrest of Karachi. Highly placed intelligence sources have also expressed that India has floated the fake currency in the market to target Pakistan economy. She is also providing weapons to the Baloch rebels via sea routes and Afghanistan.
CIA and RAW have also designed and launched social network websites in fanning their anti Pakistan agenda. In this regards, if one browses the US official website (US Citizenship & Immigration Service), one finds a form showing Balochistan as a separate state. Several US officials and US media have been projecting Balochistan as an independent and sovereign state and have circulated map of a truncated Pakistan minus Balochistan, FATA and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. In some maps Jinnahpur has also been shown. The US think tanks have been propagating creation of Greater Balochistan, which includes Sistan province of Iran. In short, linking Quetta blasts with Taliban would simply be closing eyes on the real issue of breaking nuclear Pakistan through destabilization. Although, Pakistan is undergoing the serious crises of its history but at the same time our nation has the ability to overcome these crises. Government should go for fast-track development to implement “AGHAZ-E-HUQOOQ-E-BALOCHISTAN”. Moreover, the Karachi situation is also directly interlinked to Quetta blasts since the same coverts hands are playing behind Karachi and Balochistan problems. U.S. and her allies’ interests are also quite evident from recently released WikiLeaks because Karachi and Balochistan situation has been discussed or focused in most of the cables sent to American foreign office. However, the government should take bold step in handling the overall security situation of the country. The local traitors and target killers need to be dealt severely and at the same time political solution to the Balochistan issues should be given top priority. During Wednesday’s proceedings, DG Rangers Major General Ijaz Chaudhry very rightly informed the court that militant groups of political and ethnic parties were involved in the violence in the city. He added that the situation in Karachi was worse than North Waziristan Agency and a military solution was only temporary but the issue could be resolved through political means.
