CIA Drone Attacks in Pakistan by Lt Col Zaheerul Hassan(R)

Pakistan has always endeavored its best to have peace in the region and elsewhere in the world. Its role in the global war on terror as a frontline partner is evident to all and sundry. Soon after the dispute over Raymond Davis issue there was a still in the relations between Pakistan and America, however the former, while displaying high sense of responsibility ensured its best to normalize the relations and the Director General ISI’s off the cuff visit to America was a sequel to the efforts on the way by Pakistan. However, unfortunately, soon after his return when some positive outcome of the tour was expected and was being analyzed, the fresh drone attack on Angoor Adda in South Waziristan not only jeopardized the sincere efforts but has shattered the hopes as well. Pakistan foreign office has summoned the American Ambassador and launched strong protest against Drone attack on April 13, 2011. U.S. has carried out more than 233 drone attacks, in which thousand of civilian have been targeted. Earlier in the last month, government and chief of army staff, General Ashfaq Parvez Kayni,' has strongly condemned CIA drone attacks just after the release of RAYMOND Davis too. The American arrogance is totally out of context and will not help in any case except for adding fuel to the fire only. IS it true that:-

* Some uncontrolled elements in CIA are carrying out independent actions?

* US wanted to give message that she doesn’t care about Pakistan concern on drone attacks?

* Time now to hit drones and ask America to pack up?

* US desire to intensify the tension deliberately to stay in the region and going to carry on some adventure in Balochistan.
